Our mission is to purposefully and positively impact the health of marginalized communities by partnering with the lifesciences industry. BEYOND Patient Health Equity act as as a bridge between curating health focused events to encourage meaningful dialogue between the healthcare ecosystem and the community. In our role as convener we work with large conglomerates and overwhelmingly influential companies to help evolve their understanding of health equity, social determinants of health and how they can reroute their power and resources back to the communities with the highest unmet needs. Our intent is to support the building of constructive sustainable relationships. Our role is to represent these under-resourced communities and BIPOC individuals to ensure that they are fairly represented in all levels, stages and types of medical research moving forward. as a bridge between individuals in the community and the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
Our vision is to, as members of the community, challenge the standard of patient recruitment within clinical research and vaccine participation. By challenging these standards, we believe that BIPOC and other marginalized groups will be given a voice in the field of medical research. We believe in equitable healthcare by means of equitable research.

A saying that we like to say at Beyond Patient Health Equity is ‘When I is replaced by We, even Illness becomes Wellness.’ This, we believe, truly sums up what we strive to accomplish in our line of work. By ensuring all members of our society are represented, especially in medical research and clinical trials, we can reduce the suffering and illness of all people, most importantly the ones that need it the most.
