A Passion for Patient Advocacy & Equity
Our passionate, and dedicated team have worked or been exposed to the healthcare system for many years. Our founders have personal experience and history in the medical field and have seen firsthand how inequity plays a role in the level of care and access to healthcare one received when ill. By joining forces and creating BEYOND Patient Health Equity, it is their dream to demolish these underlying structures and foundations and build a new healthcare system that is inclusive of all patient experiences.
Dora Green: Founder and President
Dora graduated from Pine Manor College with a bachelors in Biology and has a master’s degree in Pain, Research, Education, and Policy from Tufts University School of Medicine. Throughout Dora's career, she has worked on multiple projects to provide a voice to patients while educating and increasing access. BEYOND Patient Health Equity was created to continue that same work as a purveyor of cultivating equitable patient experiences and optimal patient health outcomes for marginalized communities.
Chad Green: Co-founder and Director of Business Development
As an African American man with Caribbean descent, Chad has a deep passion for patient health equity. He has watched his family and community suffer from a multitude of health conditions like hypertension, stroke, and addiction. Looking at the disparity in life expectancy, he believes that the defining factor for minorities is the care provided. As a Co-founder and the Director of Business Development, he wants to ensure better care for minorities and to raise the bar for the standard of care.
