BEYOND Patient Health Equity is an organization that is committed to making more equitable future in the healthcare ecosystem for all.
What Does that mean?
It's no question that underrepresented groups make up less than 20% of participants when it comes to clinical trials, even with FDA regulations studies still fail to have representation. Many times these are diseases or drugs that minorities are high utilizers of.
Doing the right thing.
BEYOND Patient Health Equity, is tired of talking about it, and is ready to have solution based approaches. Our vision is to shift the curb of health outcomes and longevity of minorities. We believe that evidence based medicine needs to be a representation of the people taking it!
Community Engagement
We're engaging with the community to identify and address unique barriers within marginalized communities to establish trust amongst potential patients, clinicians, and research investigation.
Building Bridges
We act as a bridge between the community and the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industries to protect, advocate, and guide meaningful relationships that will lead to improvement of minority life longevity and health outcomes.
Corporate Social Accountability
We intentionally partner with organizations committed to cultivating enduring change.
Education
We understand that the journey to health equity isn’t linear. We are approaching it in every aspect possible, including working with educational institutions to produce healthcare professionals that understand it’s importance.
We aspire to purposefully and positively impact the health of minority communities by partnering with pharmaceutical and biotech industry. We are for the culture. Our community and industries need a culture shift, one that isn’t performative.
We envision that the work we are doing today will allow companies to organically create community around patients, addressing the individual inequities they face when it comes to healthcare. And the community will have a new sense of agency over their health, empowering them to be involved, and lead healthier lives.
